Banana Split Popcorn

I munch on popcorn often and usually just enjoy it with some salt. But ~every once in a while~ I like to try something a little more... fun:@) This Banana Split Popcorn was different and very good! My inspiration was a pack of freeze dried bananas and strawberries from Walmart. Drizzle on a little melted dark chocolate and we have popcorn that's sweet, tart, crunchy, salty and a fairly healthy snack too!

More possible Banana Split type add-ins:
dried pineapple, dried cherries, peanuts, mini-marshmallows, a drizzle of white chocolate and sprinkles.
Anything else?
This size bag is good for about 3-4 cups of popcorn.
Have a happy day:@)

  2. What pretty popcorn. We recently discovered putting smoked paprika on popcorn, yummy. Smoked, not regular.

  3. Very interesting, Lynn. I have not seen that strawberry/banana stuff before & surely will look for it on my next trip.
I wish my stomach liked popcorn as much as I do. It used to be my most favorite snack.
thanks for the tip about the dried fruit, though.

  7. Aren't you clever! When I first read the title and saw the picture I couldn't imagine using strawberries, how smart to use the dried version! What a fun party treat! Dessert and a snack rolled into one! Love it~
