Primrose!

Hi everyone! I'm joining Seasonal Sunday,  Mosaic Monday and Nifty Thrifty Tuesday with the flower that comes out right after Christmas each year to brighten our winter days...
Primrose!
I picked this up today for $1.49 and I also found this little milk glass footed planter for 79¢ at the Salvation Army! A fun little centerpiece for less than $2.50 that will last for weeks:@)
They are perennial, so after they fade you can plant them outside.
These mosaics (pics from the net) show a very small offering of the colors they come in!
They have different petal configurations and leaf shapes to!
I hope you'll treat yourself to some pretty Primrose too!
Have a happy day:@)

  14. Very pretty! Would you believe I've never thought of having primrose inside? I've always thought of them as an outdoor plant, but how neat to enjoy inside before planting. I really like this idea, I need to see some pretty summery colors right now.

  16. Although there are many beautiful primulas, the wild yellow primroses that grow along the lanes here in Normandy are my favourites.
I always know that Spring is here when they start to bloom.
Thanks for stopping by NL today.

  18. A perfect centerpiece! For Valentine's Day, Troy usually gives me either a Primrose or a mini rose plant. Then when Spring comes we plant it. Yup, no big bouquets or cnadies here for V-Day. But, now I have a pretty garden with past Valentine flowers that bloom each year.

  23. I can only enjoy them has house plants as my soil is too sandy to grow them. They have such cheery faces and come in wonderful colors. I love put 3 or 4 pots together in a basket on the table.

  28. How thrifty AND pretty! I am such a plant killer, who knows it I could make something like this last?! I'm still waiting for my narcissus to bloom and I've already let one of my $15 holiday vignette mini trees go to sweet plant heaven. A brown thumb is nothing to be proud of, let me tell ya. I guess it could be worse and be black! LOL ~ Sue
