"Hello Pretty!"

Sometimes Mother Nature offers the neatest surprises! A clump of flowers started growing right in the middle of my strawberry garden this year. At first I thought they were zinnias, but no...

Sunflowers!
Ya gotta love that!
Happy Fertilizer Friday, please stop over to see what everyone else is talking about.

  1. I do! I love it. I don't have enough full sun for sunflowers. You have them popping up where you least expect them!

  3. How pretty. Sunflowers just make you smile. They have so many pretty varieties anymore too but the yellow ones are so cheery.

  5. Sunflowers are so pretty and happy. In mythology, a girl was so in love with Apollo (the sun) that she stared at him all day. So the gods felt sorry for her and changed her into a sunflower. :)

  7. I love rogue flowers! And now I am wondering if this could explain the unidentified seedlings in my chard patch. I have been waiting to identify them before I decide what to do with them. I found a morning glory growing in my potatoes and transplanted it. When I took horticulture, we were taught that a weed was any plant that was growing where it did not belong, so by there definition a rose was a weed if it was growing in a wheat field. But I have never been able to abide by that definition! :D
