Junkin' and Other Fun Finds

I had such a fun Saturday morning! The weather was amazing and I stumbled upon a little community yard sale at a church. The first thing I bought was this great red and pink rose tablecloth from the sweetest lady. Her voice cracked as she said it was a wedding gift. Also mentioned that if she "didn't get rid of it her kids were just going to throw it out"... Well, my voice cracked as I said thank you and that I would certainly enjoy it! It's square and my table's oblong, so I just run the corners down the center of the table. She also mentioned that she sold "the others"... I don't even want to think about what I missed!  50¢-Woo Hoo!

I've been taking cut up veggies to work to snack on and like to dip them in a little salt. Made a mental note to look for one of these... About 2" wide by 1" high. Yep, the Tupperware lady was there too! 50¢

**PIG ALERT**
And believe it or not, a guy was selling his buddy's pig collection! Too funny, I sooo wish I had my camera. Bad Blogger!!! Head hanging in shame... The only thing I picked up is this cute push toy and don't mind telling you, the three year old in me has been having fun playing with it:@) 25¢

Wanted to share that Walmart has red, white and blue M&M's right now. Great for the 4th and don't forget the Olympics are this summer, fun for showing your colors if you're having the crowd over.

Also found red candy melts on sale for 75¢ at Walmart, grabbed the last pack of them my store had!

So there you have it, a great start to a beautiful weekend! Here's wishing you a weekend of fun finds too!
Have a happy day:@)

  9. Thanks for sharing. I actually had several similar cloths from when we first got married. I gave them away somewhere along the way.

  19. I know just how the 'table cloth lady' felt. I would rather sell my stuff to strangers who will treasure it, rather than wait for my kids to throw it out!!! It is a beautiful table cloth, you dun good girl!!

  20. Okay - so now I know where you got the white M&M's : )
After all the sorting I have been doing the past few weeks, I understand the emotion with the table cloth. Those decisions are so hard.
